Vancouver, Washington - LogiTel
Corporation recently announced the
continued sponsorship of a Regional Cycling Team with a twist.
Half-Fast Velo
(tongue firmly
inserted in cheek) is the winner of the 2005 OBRA Team BAR
(Best All-Around Rider - Team)
and winner of the
Citysports NW Magazine readers poll as “Bike Club of the Year - Portland". The Team of 50 Masters age racers is focused on winning at the local
and
regional level while maintaining a commitment to community service.
LogiTel believes that Half-Fast Velo's
diverse group of competitive, yet mature riders
align well with the company's desire to support local groups, charities, and
events.
The LogiTel - Half-Fast Velo Cycling
Team athletes are at the top of their game and
embody all the attributes that the LogiTel brand represents in the marketplace:
professional, confident, modern, smart and daring. In addition, their vision
of teamwork
is perfectly aligned with LogiTels vision of customer engagement/teamwork.
As part of the agreement, when not racing,
the LogiTel - Half-Fast Velo Cycling Team
athletes will be volunteering 1,000 hours for various charities including the
Diabetes
Society as part of the Summit to Surf fundraising ride this summer. The team's
diversity
will be further displayed at events throughout California, Oregon, Washington,
and Idaho.
These events will include Sea Otter MTB, Ironman South Africa & Hawaii,
multiple State championships, and adventure races.
The season kicks off in mid-February
and continues through November, culminating in
season-ending International Cyclo Cross Events featuring
the biggest names in cycling.
